Bedini SSG reproduction reports.
(number 3)

A new circuit design with minimum wires.

It seems that with wires connecting the components the behavior of the system could be chaotic...

So far I can not tell if it is the case here.

The thicker wires going to the battery are a pain to weld !

New version of the compact system. Until now i was unable to make this spin fast as one can see in the Youtube videos.

And the base electrical resistance for this small disk is to much. I use a 450 ohms and 1K potentiometer.  Will try with 100 ohms soon. I really want to see this flaying...

My coils are just two intertwined (trigger and power).  This is not enough to get a effective Bedini system. I mean, the sum of the voltages of both batteries is dropping with the "charging" precess.

So i made a cement receptacle to hold a second battery. Hope to be able to, at least, achieve the state where the principle of radiant energy can be demonstrated...

But a brand new system is been constructed right now.  Inspired by this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34488155@N03/sets/72157625468081367/detail/

Now a new development !!!

At the Youtube video, where Linderman shows how to build a Bedini SSG, one can see that the extra length of the welding rods at the center of the spool is mounted pointing down, not near the wheel.
But from the beginning i was always pointing the welding rods to the wheel... A mix of naive intuition and ignorance about the rituals usually taught.

Also there are those who show indications that it improves speed if one let a certain gap between the coil and the wheel...

The thing is that when i did some tries with all the same, just  changing the coil montage by rotating 180 degree i managed to get much more speed by putting the protruding welding rods near the wheel !!
This is showed bellow:

Just for the sake of registering, this is my final aeolian/photo voltaic system with the arrive of the inverter:
